Rickshaw RuNZ is Glen Crofskey, Darryl Crofskey and Wal Gray
WAL ![]() Insisting not to call him the mechanic, Wal is designated team mechanic by virtue of the fact he has spent the most time travelling in auto rickshaws and his Grandfather had a vintage motorbike collection. Good enough for us. He is no stranger to south Asia, having spent a year in Sri Lanka in two stints working to rebuild Peraliya after the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami destroyed the coastal town.
DARRYL, aka Dazza, Aka Sir Darryl the Brave
As head of the Auckland Theosophical Society, Darryl could be looked upon as Rickshaw RuNZ’s spiritual adviser, a must in a country with over three million gods. On second thoughts, he could just add to the confusion. As a bean counter he will be looking after the rupees.
GLEN ![]() Glen is an Indiaphile who has been to the subcontinent twice. The six month stint with his partner Nic in 2005 produced great memories, stories and photos, as well as their daughter Riley. In charge of communications, and is working on learning some key Hindi phrases, such as “where is the nearest mechanic?”
